STAUNTON, VA.: American Shakespeare Heart (ASC) has named Vanessa Morosco their new govt director, efficient instantly. Morosco, an actor and director, will work alongside creative director Brandon Carter.
“On behalf of the board of trustees, I’m delighted to announce Vanessa Morosco’s appointment as govt director of the American Shakespeare Heart,” board chair Kim West stated in a press release. “Vanessa embodies the power, hope, and pleasure of our mission to light up the performs of Shakespeare and his contemporaries, each classical and fashionable. Morosco, who has carried out in over 25 productions with ASC, is the co-founder of the 50/50 Shakespeare Venture, which is devoted to advancing gender fairness within the office of Shakespeare’s performs. She can be a marketing consultant and ethicist with Influence Drama, main fairness, range, inclusion, and unconscious bias trainings for companies. Morosco is a member of Actors’ Fairness Affiliation and the Stage Administrators and Choreographers Society and holds an M.A. in ethics from Yale College.
