Dorothy Moore (born October 13, 1946, in Jackson, Mississippi is an American pop, R&B, and soul singer greatest identified for her 1976 hit music, “Misty Blue”.
Moore’s mother and father had been Mary Moore and Melvin Hendrex Senior. Her father carried out underneath the stage title Melvin Henderson as a member of the 5 Blind Boys of Mississippi. She was raised by her nice grandmother and started singing within the church choir at a younger age. She was a member of The Poppies with Petsye McCune and Rosemary Taylor when she was attending Jackson State College.
