This roundtable was a part of the Roma Heroes – VI. Worldwide Roma Theatre Pageant, which showcases six performances from numerous European Roma theatres (Hungary, Romania, Italy, Sweden). The goal of which is to current and protect the values of the theatre and dramatic heroes of the biggest ethnic minority in Europe, highlighting the challenges the members of this minority face due to segregative and discriminatory practices—which offend minority rights.
