Conceived of and produced by Mark Russell and ArKtype in partnership with the Worldwide Presenting Commons (IPC), Artistic and Impartial Producer Alliance (CIPA), and HowlRound Theatre Commons, the 2024 Beneath the Radar Symposium will convene 250 arts presenters, producers, service orgs, funders, and artists towards rigorous, facilitated small-table discussions, taking a deeper dive into visioning emergent paths for a stronger sector of nationwide and worldwide performing arts.
Featured keynote audio system are Jeremy O. Harris (playwright), Ravi Jain (Creative Director, Why Not Theatre), Kaneza Schaal (director/performer), and Hana Sharif (Creative Director, Enviornment Stage).
Beneath the Radar (RADAR) is a competition celebrating new theatre and efficiency works from each around the globe and down the road. Happening in New York Metropolis from 5-21 January 2024. Produced and programmed by 13 completely different venues in collaboration with RADAR.
Beneath the Radar 2024 addresses a metropolis, a rustic, and the world with the voices of progressive multidisciplinary artists chatting with their time. The competition stands for transparency, fairness, and equal collaboration within the improvement of latest stay works. It represents world citizenship, innovation, and a platform for these whose voices have but to be heard.
