Rustin star Colman Domingo will obtain the inaugural Derek Malcolm Award for innovation from the London Movie Critics’ Circle, the U.Ok. longest-standing movie critics’ affiliation.
The award, named in honor of the late British critic Derek Malcolm, who died in August at age 91, will likely be introduced to Domingo on the forty fourth London Critics’ Circle Movie Awards in London on Feb. 4, 2024.
Domingo, at present producing awards buzz for his efficiency as Civil Rights chief Bayard Rustin, the chief architect of the historic 1963 March on Washington, in George C. Wolfe’s Netflix drama Rustin, is being honored for his work as an actor, producer, author, director and musician throughout movie, tv and theater.
