Daughters of the Cult “is a stunning five-episode deep-dive into the historical past of the polygamous Ervil LeBaron cult informed instantly by means of the eyes of the individuals who had been there. Hidden in plain sight all through the Southwest and Mexico, a splinter group of Mormon fundamentalist cult members perpetrate a lethal wave of violence and abuse for many years within the title of their fanatical prophet Ervil LeBaron, dubbed the ‘Mormon Manson’,” per the official synopsis.
It continues: “Survivors, relations of killers, and legislation enforcement now come ahead to color an emotional and grisly image of a brutal madman ordering cold-blooded executions. Regardless of operating from the FBI for many of their younger lives there may be triumph, therapeutic, and sisterhood for the courageous few who escape the cult and start anew.”
