Norman Lear was serenaded with the theme songs of his tv life as he slipped away, his son-in-law has revealed.
Dr. Jonathan LaPook, Lear’s son-in-law and a chief medical correspondent for CBS Information, stated Lear’s household was with him and made certain to offer him a “comfortable touchdown for the airplane.”
Lear, the creator of The Jeffersons, Maude, One Day at a Time, All within the Household, and extra died Tuesday at his dwelling in Los Angeles at 101.
“The household was gathered across the mattress, he was very comfy and resting peacefully, and we did what we knew he would need us to do,” LaPook stated right now on CBS Mornings. “We have been singing songs from Les Mis, which he cherished, and likewise a few of the songs from his TV reveals.”
